Kirley
Thanks Guys for the comments, Noel, I did the slow run of the A class for you.
Noel
. . . Noel, I did the slow run of the A class for you. You know Kieran, believe it or not, as I watched that segment I thought you might have done that for me. It looked great. I love the way you have weathered your track work and especially love the stone walls. Reminds me of the scenery I saw on the train yesterday in Galway. Your layout always entertains and looks superb.
richrua
Very nice Kieran . Reminded me of how much variety is possible when choosing stock for an Irish themed railway. I also really like your trackwork. What ballast do you use ? The station area is brilliant. The flagstones are amazing.
Mike 84C
I like the side rods flashing round on Railcar B looks rather good. I nearly bought an A like yours at Wakefield wish I had now! duhhh!

Noel
Very nice K. Atmospheric. The blue GNR container on the conflat begs the question does anybody remember CIE containers on conflats and road trucks in the 1960s (i.e. pre standard intermodal containers)? I vaguely remember there were silver/grey containers with a black CIE logo and the crane slings attached to the roof. Can't find any pics on the web. Noel
Thanks. Good find, that looks like the one. Any pics of it on the railway on a conflat wagon? PS: The iconic Pan AM advert brings back memories of flying in and out of what used to be the soviet block.
jhb171achill
A totally realistic goods train REALLY makes a layout come alive! Excellent stuff.
Kirley
It's a long time since any MPD's appeared on this Site, I know they are not to everybody's taste but I like them. A stop at the Junction Station - NIR livery. In earlier UTA livery. The last locally built Railcars which were followed by the Class 70, Class 80, Class 450 & the CAF's.
