Grange Castle Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Looks great Anthony Good to see you back. Quote
UP6936 Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 great attention to detail with the bits of track being used to lower the locos! I would probably never even think to do that, the poor machines would have been plonked any old shape! top class! Quote
Flying Scotsman 4472 Posted February 26, 2013 Author Posted February 26, 2013 Been a while since I did any videos and Boskonay and a few others have been asking for some more. A few changes to the layout as you will see. Enjoy # Quote
Portoman Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Excellent as usual. The backdrops give a sense of depth - where did you get them ? Dave Quote
gm171 kk Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 I always love these videos. Those have to be the most realistic Irish oil tankers I have ever seen modelled. Quote
Garfield Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 That made for great viewing, Anto. Love the P&T Bedford... Quote
scahalane Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Fantastic stuff all round. I love the sound effects, how did you get the prototypical clicking sound from the bogies? Quote
Broithe Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Marvellous! The Tourist Board could use that.. Quote
Kirley Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Good to see more of Ballykay, it’s a bit of a game to work out what you have put where and a visit on site will have to be carried out. Liked all the little touches you highlighted in your video. Is the Jeep, No. 5 a new addition? Quote
BabyGM Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Great Layout with some lovely new touches:-bd Quote
BosKonay Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Any chance of a 'tour' / walkaround to get a sense of the scale, scope and size (and where things are in relation to each other)?? Your modelling, weathering and scenic skills are second to none and a total inspiration! Quote
Barl Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Stunning layout Anthony and that helix is mightily impressive Quote
Shinkansen Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 The baby GM with the oil tankers look the biz... Very cool 'short train', and the most realistic rust effect I've ever seen on those tankers. Top stuff Tom. Quote
enniscorthyman Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 You should be very proud of your layout Bud-simply fantastic. Quote

Flying Scotsman 4472 Posted April 2, 2013 Author Posted April 2, 2013 (edited) Some new additions on Ballykay. NIR 108 and 111 also IE 175 and 078 for best results on You Tube change the settings to 360p NIR 108 is a Silverfox Kit built/painted and weathered running on a Hornby class 73 chassis The 141 Class was MM171 which I renumbered to 175 and given a light weathering not everything in Ballykay is really dirty=)) there are some cleanish locos knocking about NIR 111 was MM112 which I fitted the proper small marker lights renumbered and also fitted etched brass name plates she was also given a light weathering. MM078 was given larger marker lights and a heavey set weathering with sun bleached paint Edited April 2, 2013 by Anthony Quote
