I'm happy enough with how they turned out. You done a great job on them. They look fantastic and are so easy to work with. They really do take the loads to the next level. I'd highly recommend them to anybody considering ordering them. 1 1
JasonB Posted March 1 Author Posted March 1 Following on from my previous post, I've decided to continue covering my IRM fertiliser loads with @murphaph's excellent IFI decals. As before, I'll be attempting a full wrap of each load. I'm not quite sure how many I'll manage to complete, as covering them this way requires using more than one decal for each load, and there's alot to get through. 8 2
DJ Dangerous Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Fair bit of wrapping ahead of you… Merry Christmas, ho ho ho!
JasonB Posted August 16 Author Posted August 16 After lots of cutting and applying, I finally got these finished during the week. Unfortunately, I didn't get them all covered as I ran out of decals. But I think I've got enough done for a convincing yard scene. 7 5
DJ Dangerous Posted August 16 Posted August 16 Aside from the skilled modelling, I love the presentation and photography. Really shows off the quality of the work. 4 1
RedRich Posted August 17 Posted August 17 Lovely job Jason they look great. I'd imagine the real ones were heat shrink wrapped. The decals are fantastic. Rich 2 1
JasonB Posted September 28 Author Posted September 28 Nothing ground breaking, but still, it's one of those fiddly jobs that needed doing. I recently picked up these OO figures fairly cheaply online. They worked out at less than €20 delivered for 100 pieces, which is a fraction of what I was paying for the Bachmann Scenecraft seated passengers that I'd been using. As you can see below, the downside with them being so cheap is that the finish isn't the greatest. So, some tidying up and a full repaint of each figure was required. I have also removed the lower part on roughly half, as I'll be using these in vehicles. 10
JasonB Posted October 4 Author Posted October 4 Some shots of my Murphy Models - Cravens Interiors were painted, along with adding passengers. Weathering has been kept to a minimum, with the bogies and ends carrying most of the grime. 13 6

He must have installed signal jammers ln each coach. Given the job on the weathering, I wouldn’t be surprised if the toilets actually function, too. Edited Saturday at 17:49 by DJ Dangerous 2 2

Over time, some had stopped working completely and on the others the diodes were beginning to fail one by one. I decided to just remove them all. 1 1
DJ Dangerous Posted Sunday at 09:25 Posted Sunday at 09:25 Looked back over your pics on the computer last night, @JasonB, and I have to say, your weathering is literally some of the forum’s finest. You should consider offering your services to other people. There are definitely people who would pay a premium for work like that! 4 1
RedRich Posted yesterday at 16:13 Posted yesterday at 16:13 Lovely job on the cravens Jason they really are a great coach model and have really stood the test of time. A few mixed rakes of cravens and park royals from IRM will look amazing. Rich 1 2 1
