Ive been so tempted by those six for weeks now. They've been up a good while. But after repainting another rake of mk3s plus I've three mk2s on the way to do it would be a more want then need purchase for me

For somebody with enough skill, you could buy and repaint some British outline Bachmann's and Lima's for a lot less.

Here's hoping!

GSWR bogie second and Midland 6-wheelers on order........

Laminates and Park Royals, then we can talk about 6 wheelers 😉

I suppose we're getting ahead of ourselves if we start talking about those 6 wheel bogie coaches..

IRM coaching stock is well overdue given the level of success of it freight offerings. The problem is that unless IRM do some earlier stock my cash will be going to a couple of rakes of MM Supertrain Mk3s and suburbans.

MM is also potentially planning a new run of cravens and I'd certainly take a few of them with new running numbers for sure. I have a feeling there would be a fair demand for early single stripe ones TBH.

Hopefully can dump my old Lima Execs and Silverfox driving trailer for an upgrade but most of all would love to see some proper 1950s built 'laminate' stock which hung around for thirty years.

Am sure IRM will be expanding into coaching stock soon enough.

mk4 sets or 1950 laminates or indeed park royals Would be equally welcome, combined with the MM mk3 that would leave modellers with a full deck or Irish rolling stock covering 1950 right up today. Then all that remains are h-vans and beet wagons. Lots to look forward to. The forthcoming A’s will look great hauling the MM mk2d supertrain livery stock as launched in 1972 with CIEs first modern marketing campaign, I can still hear the TV adverts in my head and remember the awe when I first saw the spaceship like matching supertrain A and Brel coaches with their similar roof profiles, the Irish TGV we all thought back then but 75mph on 100yo broken rail was fast enough Back then to have Sparkes flying off rosary beads every time the train clattered over points. Happy days spoilt for choice.

Market rate alas, problem with UK sellers now is that a lot of them wont sent outside of the UK due to the 'B' thing. Best to ask before the auction ends / clicking buy it now

Would be nice to see MM re-release the 201 in the delivery livery. Was 220 the only one MM did? I'd like no. 201 in her 1994 outfit anyway.

203 and 220 in the original livery, then 201 and 210 in the yellow-face livery.

One of these would go really well with a '94 livery 201:

Ebay can be a pain in the back**** someone paid £500 for an old Backwoods Donegal class5 kit over the weekend, in total they spend over £1,100 for four kits which according to the new owner of that range (which will be available again early part of next year) for just over half that amount.

I just wish they had done some home work on these kits before bidding, as now anyone who saw those prices is going to expect to get that if they put there own old backwoods kits on ebay next year.

I think they may well be dissappointed
