The fact that you dont buy them because you think they are too dear does not make any kind of statement.

Say you are not buying them because they are too dear

Now you have said/done something

Feel better? =D

500 notes! Ouch, I've three sets, paid no more than 140 for the most expensive!

you lucky hound! i got one a few years back in marks models for 120 - the gods were smiling at me that day!!!

I bought one some time ago. It's good value for a totally scratchbuilt kit and is a quite accurate representation. He also provided great after-sales advice about suitable motor power (HO scale Lima class 25 will do).

Still have to put it together though....

Anyone bidding on this?

R768 is the kosher Irish box

Was not produced during the Tri-Ang Hornby dynasty

Right loco

Wrong box!

hi Dave,

You was right, the box is for R758 Hymek in BR Green (production 1966-67) or BR blue Running number D7063 (1968-76).

The box show on ebay date between 1966 and 1972.

High price because it is brand new and unused.

Same seller also list four Lima Irish Orange livery http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/m.html?_odkw=&item=200942237075&pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&_osacat=0&hash=item2ec9173593&_ssn=lacorbiere&_trksid=p2046732.m570.l1313&_nkw=lima+irish&_sacat=0&_from=R40

Agreed Steve but these sets make £150 on a good day, I imagine because of the new NIR 111 112 & 8113 locos there is now a big demand for running stock for them

There were 3 bidders in around the £150 mark but then a sniper at the finish punted it up t0 £195

Maybe the recession is over and we weren't told?

Historically the NIR sets don't go with either 111,112 or 113 in the condition they are in. They are the wrong livery for 111 and they were scrapped or returned to the UK as far as I know by the time 112 got LED markers or 113 got it's 8.

I got them to go with 209 along with the other set I got around this time last year for €90 odd delivered. Being off the sauce for 2 months and having no girlfriend makes these things easier.:trains:

In fairness Paul, I think it was marketed wrongly

Seller had it listed as in original box but it was not

"Irish" Hymek is R768 and the BR version is R758

The CIE one was not produced during the Tri Ang Hornby era also.
