The Ballina branch train being hauled by on loan NIR loco 112 and GSV 3189 Cravens coaches 1523 and 1529-an exact replica of the train which I was fortunate to have worked just over 11 years ago .

Ohh that is just brilliant. A little bit of weathering aand shadowing on that crane and it could look like a photo out of the Times!

 

Agree absolutely classic. :tumbsup: Had the guys off loaded the ballast load first, they might have been able to hire a smaller crane, and save a few bob towards project no 4 :)

Enjoyed your video and the preamble which leads me to the question Noel, are all wagons marshalled so the discharge wheels are on the same side?

It's in a private Facebook group which isn't available to non-members. The likes of YouTube and flickr are better hosting options for video for forums like here :)

Some rakes were marshalled with half pointing right, half pointing left. Other rakes were all pointed in the same direction.
