Based on average sales so far, would it be possible to estimate a time slot when each of the following are expected to run out (so I know how long I have to order)?

The three items of interest;

124

134

the 645 decoder

Many thanks

Hi there,

Not really as we do not know how many will be produced. However, I can tell you that so far 124 and 134 are the most popular two ordered from us by far, so far.

Cheers!

Fran

We can confirm it's the price we're charging, based on the data we have in hand, and we will not be increasing that price.

Thats a fair price - I would say the RRP will probably be that or close.

As much as I would like to order from your good selves - I've pre-ordered from another Irish outfit last year and I'll stick with them to share the business around when I can.

BTW - I assume the A's are proceeding as scheduled?

Thank you Fran, interesting the most modern are the popular ones! In which case, I’ll place my order promptly

Sorry to be a bother, with the pre-order regulations, would it be easier for me to purchase the loco and the decoder separately or together (I’d be looking to buy one of the June 121 releases)?

We're not sure yet when the decoders will be coming exactly, so might be simpler to order them individually (it will be free postage on both regardless!)

Hope that helps!

Right, unfortunately I made a combined order just before reading that. I sincerely apologise, would it be easier for me to re-order? I don’t want to make it more difficult at your end! I would be happy to wait until both are delivered to the IRM warehouse but I understand the impracticality of this. Again, I’m very sorry for my mistake. Many thanks for the assistance

Not a problem, we can split it for you on the warehouse system end!

Will any of the IÉ locos have the correct marker lights for that era? I'm guessing 124 and 134 will have the latest marker lights as their main appeal is that they were late to be withdrawn but maybe 129 will have the older type

It looks like there is a third set of lights as these are not the original set of three (or was it 4?) nor the newest set of 4 round LEDs. I think these are square incandescents that were prevalent in later 80s/90s ish? Maybe replacement for the failing originals?

I thought there was three types. The original 2+1 lights, the square lights like the ones above (introduced for work with the push pull mk3s?) and the current LED cluster type.

good on you for stocking these. Have just pre-ordered and cancelled from Hattons. Will continue to support IRM in preference where I can given all the great work they've done for the Irish scene in the last couple of years.

Yes, you're right but there was some variation, 3 original or 4 'original' style marker lights. If I recall there are photos of them delivered off the boat that way. I will say that I don't see a second red bulb just white

Later,

Kilkenny

Original three, plus two extra reds during PP era

Laytown 19-6-92 (3)

4 incandescent

IARNROD EIREANN 126

4 LEDS

Does anyone know when the first batch of 3 or 4 121s are due, I understand it is the grey & yellow livery due to some paint issues?

Holy Sacred cow, they all lookssublime, locos of the decade, the B&T versions in particular nearly made me fall off my chair. Like the Tippex IR broken points logo version too even if outside my era.

Though he was doing the 3 marker light version of the IRs to?. It's the same configuration of the IR 141/181s. Either way they look great.

The silver headlights are odd too.

But they still look great. I'll hopefully pick up 129 and 131.

The IE livery looks amazing and is the era all my models represent. It will always be how I remember 124 and 134. However B125 and B131 steal the show livery wise as it did with the Babies.

Beautiful models =D

In the pictures of the BnT loco's B131 has side rails and B125 does not, how do you know which loco's have them?

B125 is early b and t while 131 is late b and t era. 131 also has the multiple working sockets while 125 does not.

Fantastic looking models...the black and tan locomotives look tempting now.....they weren't part of the overall plan....PIMP

IMHO they are the ultimate Irish loco in B&T, Tara Junction might be able to time travel a bit?

I travelled to Lakeview and Tara Junction in 1966, and there were black "A"s (and still one green one), with a grey 121, two green "C"s, a black "E", a black'n'tan "G", and six new 141s.......

Lakeview was full of grey 30 ton vans and an old GSR one too................

....and me oul fella had a pic of an ex-GNR "UG" there, beside a "Woolwich" and three "J15s", a "J18" and a 400 class in 1959.......

(And then I woke up!)

(Can we tempt you, Noel?)

Does anybody know how many of each version of the 121 models have been produced?

The RPSI version was 300 units, I think?

121 and 124 are already sold out on the IRM website! How many of each have been allocated to IRM for sales?

After seeing the photos a mixed pair would look great doubled up with a 141 /181....

Ah, us oul wans are working on you, Noel.

Soon, it’ll be an 00 Works J15 with forty of Leslie’s cattle trucks and a van going through en route from Ballyculchie Fair to Cabra!
