If I had the money I would buy a load of them seeing what happens to the A class locos IRM's very limited runs remind me of the Swiss specialist HRF, who never do more than one run of a model. You could probably buy a decent used car for what HRF models can command on the secondhand market. 3 Quote

I'm going to have to find an excuse for an ICR and a 1970s NIR diesel to appear on a 1950s layout set in West Kerry! 2 Quote

Yes I have the same problem, except that the station I am hoping to model lost its tracks in the 1950s I think and have only recently been put back in the last ten years or so at Downpatrick, it could be a bumpy ride 1 Quote

Had the UTA not been so bloody-mindedly anti-railway, at the very least Belfast - Newcastle might have survived.... certainly Comber would have done. Edited October 28 by jhb171achill 1 Quote

DiveController Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Been considering which of these I wanted to get for the last several days and after finalized my list, I realized that shipping would be a whopping $157!! I checked my account and realized that I paid with $25 to ship 4 A class a couple of years ago, a 300% shipping increase for ROW. Who else has been hit with this increase in ROW and how much has it changed for you guys? 8 hours ago, NIRCLASS80 said: I wonder has the initial sales been more encouraging after the ICR slight disappointment? chris Posted November 1 Posted November 1 where on earth are you getting them shipped to? I'm in NZ and never had a shipping cost over 1/3 of that from IRM... It doesn't usually even get calculated until ready to ship. Quote

Never on the mainline, maybe in the works yard to ensure everything worked, but no more - the Hunslets were build to the Irish loading gauge which is taller and wider than the UK. The scaling of the IRM model is bang on, so they tower over Mk2 coaches Edited November 1 by Blaine 3 1 Quote

Shipping to US, metro area, not the backwoods or anything...., looks like the cost just keeps offing rising the more I order (but more locally you get free shipping for ordering more). Same will happen with ICRs I suspect, so since that not my era its hard to expect us to support that IRM project at these rates over here Quote

IRM is currently charging these rates to ROW. Those of you in ROW may not notice if you only order one or two locos but you certainly will for a larger order!
