Thanks for posting those pictures Anthony. No further evidence needed as to the colour being incorrect on the Supertrain coaches as released. Which paint are you using to respray into CIE and IR liveries as it looks spot on?

At 1min 11sec the colours / Orange is blatant, so which is the correct one, or are the 201's a breed of their own !!

Yes that's a good comparison point on the clip and the difference is stark. The 201 Orange is closer to the mm mk2d models in IE/IR tippex and ST liveries which IMHO are too orange (ie too much yellow, not enough red). The coaches have less yellow and more red. The black roofed models don't look as stark as the orange roofed ones. In fairness one cannot be accurate from videos and photos due to different lighting and white balance tones. Also orange roofed models tend to suffer from modellers birds eye viewing syndrome compared to side on view we are used to on the prototypes. IMHO a bit of gentle weathering is an easy fix to help tone down the 'bright orange' colour especially the orange roofed mk2ds. About to try this myself soon.

I think I saw smoke

I could smell it.

That's just unbelievable.

Or, completely believable - it amounts to the same thing.

Where do you go from here....?

That is just amazing. Really loved watching those two videos and the scenes were almost like watching an old movie. Stunning.

What sound project/decoder was in Merlin and also the baby GM sounded pretty good?

Excellent video Anthony....it's what railway modelling is all about....recreating the real thing in miniature and getting enjoyment out of it...you have certainly done that-well done.
