Warbonnet Posted November 5, 2021 Author Posted November 5, 2021 Hi everyone, The great news just keeps rolling in here at IRM, with our Tara Mines wagons now less than two weeks away from arrival. Perfect for our new A Classes, the Taras in their gorgeous original blue livery, or later brown are perfect for our metrovicks. So, if you need some stock to go behind your new locos, look no further! At just €79.95 for a twin pack of wagons they offer amazing value for money too! We have also modified the bogies to feature brass bearings for even smoother running characteristics. Order yours today, with 10% off when you order two or more packs: https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/tara-mines Cheers! Fran 5 1 Quote
BEANO3005 Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 The Tara wagons with the original ribbed roofs in the oxide/brown colour would be good to go with the A class too. 1 Quote
connollystn Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 Very disappointed by this announcement after such a long delay all we are offered is the regurgitation of an old model. Not good enough.* *Cannot remember my previous statement verbatim** **I don't know what 'verbatim' means but it sounds intelligent 1 5 Quote
declan64 Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 As someone who missed the original run of these I'm well pleased to get a second bite of the cherry. From the comment regarding the addition of brass bearings it sounds like the originals may not have been the best runners in the world (similar to the fertilizer wagons) so I'm happy to see that there's been work done to improve things. These should help keep 17 or 54 busy when they land! 2 Quote

For the next locos, I'm going with: 1. steam loco 2. 141 / 181 / 071 3. C Class For the "powered" one, it's obviously a 22000, but if the worst comes to the worst, we'll settle for a 2600... Any update on those MM 201's? It's gone awfully quiet on that front. Edited November 9, 2021 by DJ Dangerous 2 Quote

Well to be fair it’s still on the website that the 201s are on the way. Granted mr murphy probobly didn’t anticipate the shipping issue we have at the moment back then unless…..a small announcement from IRM is an update on a model they aren’t making 2 Quote
