Hi everyone,

The great news just keeps rolling in here at IRM, with our Tara Mines wagons now less than two weeks away from arrival.

Perfect for our new A Classes, the Taras in their gorgeous original blue livery, or later brown are perfect for our metrovicks. So, if you need some stock to go behind your new locos, look no further!

At just €79.95 for a twin pack of wagons they offer amazing value for money too! We have also modified the bogies to feature brass bearings for even smoother running characteristics.

Order yours today, with 10% off when you order two or more packs: https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/tara-mines

Cheers!

Very disappointed by this announcement after such a long delay all we are offered is the regurgitation of an old model. Not good enough.*

*Cannot remember my previous statement verbatim**

**I don't know what 'verbatim' means but it sounds intelligent

As someone who missed the original run of these I'm well pleased to get a second bite of the cherry. From the comment regarding the addition of brass bearings it sounds like the originals may not have been the best runners in the world (similar to the fertilizer wagons) so I'm happy to see that there's been work done to improve things. These should help keep 17 or 54 busy when they land!

AFAIK Ribbed makes a massive Difference.

So another A or 12 to be released.. Could do with some keg cages...missed out on these in the 1st run. I think Tara Jct Got most of them :)

Burning question... when is the next announcement due?

Six this morning, and another seventeen by noon tomorrow, I believe....... RTR Blessington tram locos, the Loughrea crew van, Macroom six wheel thirds, and Burtonport Extension goods vans among them......

Guess where we'd have to insert the DCC chip on Dick the Horse!

I gave my ALL my IRM wagons a drop of oil and a good run-in and they run fine. Very squeaky to start with but now running very well. Tara's, Ferts, Containers, Spoils.

Just waiting for the big Ammonia Tanker and Bogie Bulk announcements 😆

Ah yes, the infamous 'not good enough' comment. I'd forgotten about that. It's the gift that keeps on giving :D

Actually one per month and there's always an April 1st announcement 😁

Will I need a flashlight? I'm more worried about the chip being ejected during use🤣

"Small" is too vague...

Small models, small runs, small prices, small baby on the way, give us a clue!

Wife won’t be happy that’s next year’s summer holidays in the sun cancelled 😊

Bring your weathering gear and we can work something out.

Working holiday for you, but at least it's in the sun.

Is there any chance the new and improved bogies will be offered for sale separately to upgrade the older stock?

And the answer is...

A3R was considered a “small announcement

The only other thing I remember IRM working on is the footbridge project. I’m sure we will get an update on that In one of the next, oh I don’t know …..15 announcements 😅😅

Just a reminder to everyone that MM might have 201s coming next year……

im going to have to stick to an era or I’ll be skint

Small announcement my backside!

For the next locos, I'm going with:

1. steam loco

2. 141 / 181 / 071

3. C Class

For the "powered" one, it's obviously a 22000, but if the worst comes to the worst, we'll settle for a 2600...

Any update on those MM 201's? It's gone awfully quiet on that front.

Well to be fair it’s still on the website that the 201s are on the way. Granted mr murphy probobly didn’t anticipate the shipping issue we have at the moment back then

unless…..a small announcement from IRM is an update on a model they aren’t making

Got enough 201's TBH I won't be buying anymore, Probably need to shed some of them. I like them though, very nice runner.
