karjoa1998
Hello, here some pictures of my new layout 'Kilkenny'. The gauge is 21mm with much scratchbuilt items. Much work left (it's only the first part of the layout). Greetings from Bochum Joachim

RedRich
I can appreciate the amount of time, effort, and thought that has gone into the layout. It takes me back to my youth and looks just like I remember it. I can't say that I am taken by the way that MacDonagh Station looks today with the shopping Mall next to it. Is the track built to finescale standards. Did you use Templot or other templates. If it isn't finescale did you reuse the original loco wheels on longer axles. I look forward to seeing more and thanks for sharing, it's a wonderful piece of work. Rich,

Kilkenny
Can't fault anything, it's perfect in every way; just great to look at! You have done a fantastic job here modelling the station, it obviously took a lot of time and effort but the payoff here is immense. Really looking forward to more photos! karjoa1998
only beautiful! where did you come accross the soft top landrover in this pic? i can only get hardtop ones Thank you. The Landrover is from Schuco (some models are simular to carama) 1: 76 scale. It was sold only in an ambulance version with a big red cross on the canvas. I painted the soft top over. I bought it 10-12 years ago. I think it is not available anymore. Joachim

Shinkansen
Pretty amazing work Joachim. You should be proud of your efforts A real 70's/80's scene in Kilkenny. I love the look of the goods shed. Could you tell me what make of foot bridge did you use? Love those old wrought Iron bridges... Cheers, Tom.
Broithe
Could you tell me what make of foot bridge did you use? It looks very like the old Hornby R076 - http://www.modelrailwayloft.co.uk/hornby-r076-footbridge-kit.html . Still available as a Thomas the Tank accessory - with a different number, and in blue.
