No, they've arrived OK along with the GSWR bogie coaches and six-wheelers - they forgot to put in the "A" class locos, though.

Warbonnet
Hi everyone, As per photo above from earlier this morning, pallets currently being broken down and counted into stock. Shipping should commence from Wednesday, all going well. Please note that it will take a number of days to complete shipping, due to the massive amount of pre-orders received and requiring sorting! Cheers! Fran 12 1 4

BosKonay
Deliveries in Ireland will go An Post next day tracked, to Northern Ireland and the UK will ship with Royal Mail 48 hour tracked and the rest of the world will either by AN Post tracked packet service if single locos or DHL if multiple. We hope to start sending out tracking numbers in the next 48 hours if you opted for colllection you will need to wait until your order is processed and packed and we send you a barcode for collection. hope that helps!! murphaph
Oh no more GLS to Germany? I found them excellent the last couple of times. Stuff got here really fast from Dublin. I don't think I've ever received a parcel sent by DHL from Ireland so that'll be something new.
johnfromoz
Eagerly awaiting my A Class here in Tasmania, hoping that you guys continue to use DHL, as per all my recent orders from you. Post system here is in crisis, DHL seem to be able to rise above major delays. if I order another A, to go with my preordered one, can the order be combined with DHL as carrier? Bumble_Bee
Fair play folks its hard these days to decide what carrier to use since they are all so hit and miss sometimes. Although I will say.... ...thank god you's aren't sending with Hermes
DiveController
My shipment of vehicles left Dublin with DHL on September 23 and has been stuck in Miami since September 25. No word from DHL or DHL express, I don’t know what the difference is. This happened on a DHL shipment previously where they just sent it back to IRM without a word. Impossible to find out anything from them. I hope this is not a sign of things to come with my A class shipments
murphaph
These delivery companies are products of decades of mergers and takeovers. I think a brand that is good and reliable in one country can be awful in another. 1

Broithe
There can be large regional variations in otherwise 'identical' couriers. DHL would be my preferred deliverer on the Big Island, by far - Andrej will arrive in the first five minutes of the hour that was predicted, infallibly. Others are less reliable - I had a delivery, by Yodel, 'to a neighbour' whilst I was exiled on the Western Island - they informed me by email and I forwarded that to the alleged sender, my phone supplier, as I suspected it was a scam - that neighbour actually found it eight weeks later, hidden behind one of my bins. The sender, having initially denied sending me anything, and knowing that I was in exile, then spent two days ringing me on my UK landline and complaining that I wasn't answering (er....), then, finally emailing me and demanding that I tell them what the label said, when I didn't even know who had it - and nobody actually did. 1
